Mechanical horse dragon in France
A cool video of a mechanical horse dragon being paraded through the streets of Nantes, France.
The 12 metre high horse-dragon, named 'Long-Ma', was built by French theatre company La Machine as a gift to the people of China to celebrate the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations between China and France.
The elaborate machine weighs 45 tonnes and can gallop, lie down, blow smoke out of its nostrils and breathe fire out of its mouth.

Clone army: Artist's 3D printable mask tricks facial recognition software
Biometric identification is becoming more prevalent and powerful, so artist Leo Selvaggio decided to take a novel approach to combat what he views as the growing surveillance state. Selvaggio created a 3D printable mask that is a photorealistic copy of his own face, allowing users to trick facial recognition software and conceal the wearer's identity. The idea for the project struck while the artist was living in Chicago, which has over 20,000 networked cameras accessible by police. RT's Ameera David speaks to Selvaggio and learned more about his motivations.

Water-rich gem points to vast 'oceans' beneath Earth's surface, study suggests
The first terrestrial discovery of ringwoodite confirms the presence of massive amounts of water 400 to 700 kilometers beneath Earth's surface. Ringwoodite is a form of the mineral peridot, believed to exist in large quantities under high pressures in the transition zone. Ringwoodite has been found in meteorites but, until now, no terrestrial sample has ever been unearthed because scientists haven't been able to conduct fieldwork at extreme depths.
